Lower Back Pain - Symptoms Often Observed

It is not really easy to discover what really causes lower back pain as so many factors may produce this type of affection. Sometimes, lower back pain may appear suddenly and is generally situated anywhere near the waist. A lower back pain might be occasional or chronic: chronic means that you would suffer from this affection for your lifetime, but with lull periods, fortunately.

Recent studies show that nowadays, a high percentage of people is suffering from this disease.

Scientists have observed that the most frequent causes of lower back pain could be the simple consequences of everyday life bad habits like bad sitting positions, twisting or bending improperly, hard work where people have to lift heavy objects all day long, or simply the fact that you spend too much hours in front of a computer with a desk chair which is incorrectly adjusted to your height.

These movements are only a few among many other examples of lower back pain causes. Pay special attention to the symptoms you could experience, otherwise already existing back pain may eventually acquire worse if you do not take care of them.

If you see a doctor, describe the way you feel as much precisely as possible. He would certainly make you standing straight up, evaluating the way you are able to bend backward and forward; he would observe and notice all details in your posture that look incorrect to make his diagnosis. Then, he would do a meticulous and attentive tactual exploration of your spine. Imaging studies would be recommended in order to detect any position problem affecting one or many vertebrae. Another eventualities producing suffering are arthritis, tumors or sometimes when nerve roots become too much restricted in the channels containing the spinal chord, as a result of fractures for instance.

In conclusion, you must know that in most cases, back pain is closely related to the way we move and interact with the world around us. So, if we prefer to bring down our chances of being affected by back pain, let's change the way we move; remember that the first step to prevent back pain is to correct our posture more, so that the vertebrae in our spine have less pressure put on them.
